Dr. Riegel attended Colorado State University and completed a bachelor’s degree in biology. She then completed a 2 year masters program at Drexel University in laboratory animal science (MLAS) followed by the University of Glasgow for veterinary school where she earned her BVMS degree (equivalent to a DVM). After graduation she completed a large animal rotating internship program at the University of Tennessee School of Veterinary Medicine.  She loves working with horses and other large/farm animals but has a particular interest in goats, camelids and pigs.
