Adrienne was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. During her childhood and teenage years she spent her summers at her grandparents’ house on Long Beach Island. Adrienne attended Rowan University obtaining a B.S in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry. At Rowan she captained the Varsity Swim and Dive Team and Chaired the University’s Relay for life. She graduated in 2014 with a B.S in Biology, Minor in Chemistry and concentration in honors. Four years later she earned her veterinary degree from The Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, where she served as vice president of her class. In 2018, Dr. Bush obtained her certification in Veterinary Acupuncture through the MAV Institute and has been utilizing it in her practice since.

Adrienne has worked as an ASCA swim coach, ocean lifeguard and lieutenant at Long Beach Township Beach Patrol. She also worked as a small animal/exotics veterinary technician and Red Cross CPR/EMR instructor at Virginia Tech before becoming a veterinarian.

Dr. Bush spent time in South Africa learning conservation management and disease prevention in African wildlife including hands-on experience with white rhino, giraffe, African buffalo, big cats and even whale sharks. In moving back to the South Jersey area she hopes to use her love of wildlife and the ocean to help coastal clean up efforts.

The last few years she has spent Practicing Small Animal Medicine in Alexandria, Virginia and Germantown MD. Her professional interests include acupuncture, soft tissue surgery, pain management, preventative medicine and metabolic disease management.

Dr. Bush and her husband are thrilled to be back to the area, having met as Long Beach Township lifeguards. Adrienne has a 2yr old rescue hound mix named Buoy.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, baking, teaching herself new skills (her most recent endeavors being piano and ASL) and staying active.
